Adam grinned as he watched the Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon burn away from his dragon's attack.
(End Phase) "I end my turn," said Adam and he stood confidently behind his dragon. Even as he did though, the dragon's special ability destroyed his Emerald Tortoise.

Andrew growled. He was at a situation- that Red Dragon Archfiend was a powerful monster, and if he tried to defend himself, it would only result in the Dragon destroying all his monsters.

Adam cursed himself. With Andrew's Reflect Bounder, he had turned his own dragon's ability against him. Never the less, he drew a card from his deck
(Main Phase) "I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800/1200)!" he called out and he played a monster. "Now, by using its special ability, I can bring Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth from my deck to my spell and trap card zone."
(Battle Phase) "Red Dragon Archfiend! Attack The Tricky! Sapphire Pegasus, attack Reflect bounder!" ordered Adam and his monsters attacked.

(Nope)
Andrew laughed. Damage or no damage, he was in control. "Hahaha..."
"That kid is damn good..." Said the Rare Hunter with Maha Vailo, and hodlign the book of cards.
Meanwhile, with Luke and Fang...
"Grah!" Screamed the Rare Hunter, as his Bazoo Return Deck was defeated by Luke, and another one started stepping up to get ready to duel.
"Hmph." Said Fang, as he defeated a Hunter. "This all you bastards got?"

(Okay)
(End Phase) "I end my turn," said Adam. He had taken a big gamble with his last attack. He had destroyed all of his opponent's monsters, but he had wiped out most of his own life points doing it. He would have to be careful from now on.

(Draw Phase) "My turn," said Adam and he drew another card. Taking a glancing look at it, his eyes widened, a smirk forming on his face once again.
(Main Phase 1) "I summon Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle!" called out Adam as he played another monster on the field. "But this is only the start. Now that I have all seven of my Crystal Beast cards in either my field or my graveyard, I can summon my deck's most powerful dragon! Come forth! Rainbow Dragon!" he shouted and he played the card he had drawn, a bright light suddenly appearing behind him as the shiny white dragon materialized.
(Battle Phase)
"Sapphire Pegasus, attack his face down monster!" ordered Adam and the winged horse drove the horn on its head into the face down card.

"You got that right," replied Adam. "This duel was over as soon as you activated your duel disk." He then surveyed the field. "Red Dragon Archfiend! Cobalt Eagle! Attack him directly!"
Andrew's lp: 3200
"Now, Rainbow Dragon! Attack with Rainbow Refraction!"
As the Rainbow Dragon fired a beam of light from its mouth, the attack swallowed up Andrew for a moment and as it ended, the life point counter on his duel disk would drop to zero.

With the duel now over and done with, Adam advanced on the third grader. "You dueled well kid," he said in a somewhat kind voice and he extended his hand. "But I'm gonna have to ask you for those cards back now."

Adam simply stood still for a moment before withdrawing his hand. He had simply wanted to shake hands with Andrew for a good duel. He had learned to be modest while being the American champion in order to not get cocky. Shaking hands after a duel was just another measure to keep himself modest and curteous. Walking past Andrew without a word, he advanced on the other kid who was holding the book of cards. As he assumed his serious expression again, he held out his hand again, this time it was waiting for the kid to hand over the book.

"Well well well, the U.S. champ." Said the Rare Hunter. "I'd clap if my hands weren't full. My my... the American champ... explains how you beat one of our best." He said.

"And I'd like you to hand over those cards to me," said Adam in a polite, but serious tone. "They obviously aren't yours and I'd hate to have to take them by force. You just got a small taste of what I'm capable of."

"Like I'm afraid..." He said, opening to look at the cards. His eyes widened after a second. "Sone of a......" He siad, gritting his teeth. "Fine, you win!" He said, throwing the book at him. "Common, lets round up everyone else, Andrew."
"Whatev." He said, as he got off and left with him...
As the book fell to the ground, it took only a look to see they were counterfits- with the level star in place of a attribute.

Adam simply reached up with his outstretched hand and caught the book by its spine as it came at him. After watching the two rare hunters leave, he opened the book and flipped through the counterfeit cards. As he closed the book, he began to snicker for a moment before breaking out laughing. His job here was done. From what he had been hearing down the alley, the other two were having no problem taking care of the other rare hunters. Leaving the book of fake cards on a crate by the alley, he deactivated his duel disk and turned to head down the street away from the scene.
